About Marissa Solini
Marissa Solini was born in San Francisco, California. She was raised by a family of artists and has carried their creativity with her throughout her life. She earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Oregon State University (OSU) in Corvallis, Oregon in 2015. She now works for OSU's Theatre Arts program. She also co-leads the grant committee for the Benton County Cultural Coalition.
Solini's work focuses on the recognition and celebration of women, as well as shining a light on societal issues related to gender, sexuality, and race. Solini draws inspiration from vintage patterns, memories, connections with people, and the nature of the Pacific Northwest where she resides.
